For generations, Memphis has stood at the center of the global cotton market. Cotton has played a central role in our history, the evolution of our culture and our economy. The Cotton Museum is the only institution in Memphis devoted to cotton and its story. Since its inception, the museum has become an important feature of the Memphis landscape and the leading national museum devoted to cotton.
